SENAI + Industry Challenge

At “SENAI + Industry Challenge”, Education and Innovation come together to transform the industry for the better. And you, an entrepreneur, can be part of this change. If your industry is facing a problem that needs to be solved, count on the creative minds of SENAI to suggest solutions for your business, whatever the sector of activity. And the program does not end there: the most innovative solutions will become reality after going through a sort of incubator! Check out the two main phases of the “SENAI + Industry Challenge”:

Integrating Phase

This is the initial phase in which the industry registers one or more problem it is facing. It is exactly from these real challenges (which affect productivity, competitiveness, etc.) that the students from all SENAI units meet to propose innovative and viable solutions. These projects will be developed, assessed and selected to an exhibition. Those with greater innovative production will pass to the following phase, called “Pre-Acceleration”.

Pre-Acceleration Phase

This phase was created to implement the proposed solutions, what is to say, to transform the selected projects in business plans capable of conquering the market. That’s right: the obstacles faced by your industry may be about to end! The step by step of this phase consists in the choice of projects with great potential. Then the students responsible for them enter in full dedication scheme for three months in the co-working spaces of SENAI units, under guidance of SENAI monitors. After improving their prototypes in the FabLabs and making them functional, they prepare business plans and present them to the industry for, in the future, conquer potential investors. This is SENAI forming the new industry of Rio de Janeiro!
